What is the difference between Rogers PCB and ordinary PCB?

Compare with ordinary PCB, Rogers PCB is widely used in high frequency and high reliability fields such as microwave communication, 5G, military radar, etc.

 

Furthermore, Rogers PCB is a high-performance PCB, which means:

 

1.Good rigidity, mechanical and electrical properties, easy to hole metallization;

2.High precision of board thickness;

3.Awesome copper adhesion, high heat dissipation capacity, perfect peel strength, no layering and foam;

4.Be compatible with FR-4 processing technology except the higher cost of Rogers board itself.

 

 

PS: Rogers PCB is the most stable material in the industry, with low dielectric loss and low water absorption. In addition, its dielectric constant (DK) is stable with frequency, which has low exhaust rate in aerospace applications and is widely used for high reliability field like Aerospace and defense applications or other harsh environments.
