What do classes mean (class A, class D) with audio amplifiers?

According to the different working modes of the audio amplifiers:

 

Class A audio amplifiers: To maintain the conduction current regardless of whether the signal input or not.

 

Class D audio amplifier: An amplification mode in which the amplification component is in the switching operation state, and it will be in cut off state when there is no signal input so that no power consumption.
