Can a single transistor fail and kill the CPU?

Time:2019-04-28 11:47:20 Click:

Not really. Because every signal circuit is designed as double redundancy, which is used to protect the circuit in a better way. Let alone the complicated CPU.

As you probably know, the fabrication process of CPU is extremely rigid, even a little bit of dust or bacteria will have an serious terrible effect on the final product. Apart from that, theses transistors are etching via photoetching instead of being installed one by one. In a nutshell, the whole manufacturing process of CPU is highly complex ass.
